Ricky Harrington, the sole opponent to Tom Cotton in Arkansas, got 399,390 votes. Even without him the LP is over a million which is a much higher percentage compared to the House races. COVID-19 and it’s various secondary effects almost certainly reduced the number of LP and other alternative candidates for House significantly but had less effect on the Senate races.
