The City of Windsor and the Windsor Endowment for the Arts (WEA) celebrated over 20 artists, arts organizations and supporters with a special celebration.

The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) is set to bring to life the iconic themes and music that have defined the world of superheroes across generations.

When Maestro Robert Franz came to town 10 years ago to take the helm of Windsor Symphony Orchestra, it was a gamble.

After 10 years, Sheila Wisdom has retired as the executive director of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. She retired Sunday evening following the orchestra's last performance of the holiday season. 

Lauzon will take over the role on Nov. 27.

A professor at the University of Windsor has spent the past two years researching the experiences of cancer care for members of the LGBTQ community, and hopes that a new survey will help paint a broader picture about why those experiences may differ from the norm.

The Windsor Symphony Orchestra are performing at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum and the Sandwich First Baptist Church, featuring local singer Florine Ndimubandi, with songs written by three Black composers.

The Windsor Symphony Orchestra and the Greater Essex County District School Board have teamed up in a program that teaches students about life skills through music. The program aims to teach kids about patience, persistence and the listening skills needed to be a performer.
