A Scottville resident is hiking the longest trail in the National Trails System, for a second time. 

Local nonprofits like the Lakes Crisis & Resource Center, Becker County Food Pantry and Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes are hoping to get a big fundraising boost from the 24-hour online fundraiser, Give to the Max Day, which is set for this Thursday, Nov. 17. Early giving has been open since Nov. 1 via the website, GiveMN.org.
