The Main Street in Newtownmountkennedy has come alive with the opening of a busy artisan market selling arts and crafts created by local makers.
The Market Square is now filled with the festive hustle and bustle of a pop-up art and craft shop and art gallery which is operating seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the month of December, with additional stalls in a marquee on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The market is the work of Paul Kavanagh and Grace Garde, with Paul also responsible for the Christmas trees and beautiful wreaths and plants that are on sale.
