The Karnataka High Court observed that unwarranted publicity can be avoided if the government agrees to reconsider and pass reasoned orders in relation to 2021-22 demands to block tweets and Twitter/ X Corp accounts.
"Best is to ban social media. Lot of good will come. Today, school-going children are so addicted to it," the Karnataka High Court remarked while hearing an appeal by X Corp (formerly Twitter) concerning blocking orders.
