A young man is recovering after being shot in the head in Shelby. According to police reports Zandre Cherry, of Shelby, was driving in the area of Holder Drive and Morrison Street shortly before 11 p.m. on March 24 when someone shot at his car, striking him in the head. After being shot, Cherry reportedly crashed into a residence on Holder Drive.
