STEWARTVILLE, Minn. - Stewartville School Districts school board approved improvements at schools throughout the district and that construction is complete ahead of the new school year.

“I worry about it all the time,” RPS Superintendent Kent Pekel said. “Right now, we are not seeing ‘the great resignation’ from Rochester Public Schools on the whole, but I hear from staff at all levels that things have never been this hard.”

Although the pandemic has contributed to the issue, administrators say they've felt the shortage for several years.
