WSU students vow to close Butterworth campus over accreditation fiasco
Walter Sisulu University (WSU) students in Butterworth are threatening to close their campus until the authorities explain the implications of the varsity offering unaccredited programmes. The threats, sent in a notice by student leaders to the campus management, follow a statement by the university’s institutional SRC last week, which referred to a list of 10 programmes it said had been offered though they were not accredited.
