GREENSBORO, N.C. The end of the pandemic keeps creeping closer. The CDC issued new guidance Thursday for getting rid of masks indoors.
Las month, a similar recommendation was issued for outdoors but there s a catch this time.
You have to be fully vaccinated. There are some exceptions and the mask mandate remains in our state.
Two Greensboro business owners said regardless of any new recommendations, they re reluctant to take their masks required signs down.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. The CDC has officially given the green light to vaccinate younger kids.
Now, Triad locations are giving the Pfizer shot to kids as young as 12 years old.

Health care organizations across the Triad are gearing up to provide the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to 12 to 15-year-olds following an announcement from the Food and Drug Administration’s announcement this week that it’s been approved for the age group.
Novant Health and the Forsyth County Department of Public Health say the earliest they could begin administering the vaccine to those 12-15 is Thursday. They are waiting for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s federal vaccine committee to issue its final recommendation.
