J Saan Carlos Strover, 20, was handcuffed and not wearing shoes when he escaped just before 9 a.m. Thursday, Atlanta police said. After an intense manhunt involving multiple local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, Arizona murder suspect J’Saan Carlos Strover is back in custody. Fulton County Sheriff’s deputies on the Fugitive Unit are escorting Strover back to the Fulton County Jail, the sheriff s office said Friday morning.

ATLANTA, Ga. â Officials have located a murder suspect from Arizona who escaped custody in the Atlanta area Thursday morning.
A news crew reportedly spotted the suspect, 20-year-old Jâssan Carlos Strover, and alerted police Thursday evening. WSB-TV photojournalist Joe Booker says he was preparing a story when he saw Strover run past his live truck and into some bushes.

A local television news crew spotted an Arizona murder suspect near the Atlanta airport and flagged police, resulting in the man being taken back into custody after a daylong search. The reporter and photojournalist with WSB-TV said they saw Jsaan Carlos Strover, 20, as they were driving down a road near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport around 11:15 p.m. Thursday.

Reporter Matt Johnson said he and photojournalist Joe Booker were in their live truck when Strover ran by and into some bushes. Johnson said police were nearby, so they flagged down an officer and then started filming as the suspect was arrested.

April 30 (UPI) Authorities in Georgia said Friday they located and arrested a fugitive who escaped custody near the Atlanta airport while he was being transported to Arizona to face a murder charge.
The Fulton County Sheriff s Office said College Park police officers apprehended J Saan Carlos Strover after a witness said they saw him walking down a street with his hands behind his back.
