FAIRFIELD Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street Sunday afternoon, officials say.
Fairfield police Lt. Antonio Granata said the accident occured just after 12:30 p.m. in the area of Veteran’s Park. He said an officer was notified by a passerby that a person had been hit on Reef Road.
“When police arrived on scene, they found the male lying on the ground in front of 783 Reef Road and was suffering from several injuries,” Granata said.
