The Phoenix Police Department has completed an investigation into the 2018 death of Lori Vallow s ex-husband, Joseph Ryan. There were no new findings, Public Information Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said in an email. The investigators concluded that the cause of death was that of natural causes. At this time foul play is not suspected. Â
The investigation was opened in November after the Post Register reported on a recording of Lori Vallow discussing killing her ex-husband, the father of Vallow s deceased daughter Tylee Ryan.

Vallow is heard saying at a religious gathering that she wanted to murder Joseph Ryan after he gained visitation with their daughter.Â
More than 250 grams of methamphetamine and heroin were seized by the Canon City Police Department on Sunday, officials said.
Officers also seized drug paraphernalia and a semi-automatic handgun with two fully loaded 28-round magazines during a search of a vehicle, police said.
Officials received a tip at 9 p.m. Saturday, that a 36-year-old man driving a white BMW was dealing heroin in Fremont County.
Since the tip came from Fremont County, Canon City police notified the Fremont County Sheriff s Office.
Shortly after receiving the tip, officers found the suspected vehicle along Highway 50 in Canon City where a traffic stop was initiated.
Wyoming Man Dies After Falling Through Ice, Brother Survives
The Fremont County Sheriff s Office says a man died Thursday night after falling the ice at Ocean Lake.
According to a news release, officials received the call just after 8 p.m. after someone reported that an enclosed side-by-side ATV fell through the ice.

A deputy sheriff arrived within 20 minutes and found one man being walked to the shore. The deputy learned that another man in the ATV was still inside the completely submerged vehicle.
Search and rescue crews along with ice divers were able to successfully recover the unidentified deceased victim in about 12 feet of water.
On December 30, 2020, at approximately 1655 hours, Officers with the Shoshoni Police Department observed a white Chrysler 200 with Wyoming Registration at milepost 99 on Highway 20/26 traveling westbound into Shoshoni at a rate of speed in excess of 100 mph.

Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of the vehicle, however, the vehicle failed to yield to emergency lights and sirens and continued traveling through Shoshoni westbound at speeds of over 90 mph.
The vehicle continued to travel westbound towards Riverton at speeds in excess of 100 mph along Highway 789. Law Enforcement with the Fremont County Sheriffâs Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and Riverton Police Department responded to assist in the pursuit.
