Oregon reports 990 new cases, four new deaths
The Oregon Health Authority has reported 990 new cases of COVID-19, and four new deaths.
That brings the state’s cumulative case count to 184,812, and the death toll to 2,495.
Marion County reported 93 new cases, while Polk County reported 13.
Other counties’ new cases were: Baker (2), Benton (22), Clackamas (99), Clatsop (3), Columbia (5), Coos (6), Crook (11), Curry (2), Deschutes (81), Douglas (7), Grant (12), Harney (1), Hood River (1), Jackson (56), Jefferson (12), Josephine (16), Klamath (78), Lake (2), Lane (88), Lincoln (8), Linn (51), Malheur (2), Morrow (1), Multnomah (178), Tillamook (6), Umatilla (9), Wallowa (4), Wasco (8), Washington (101) and Yamhill (12).

There is one new COVID-19 related death in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,491.
Oregon Health Authority reported 928 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the state total to 183,830.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 339, which is 13 more than Wednesday. There are 71 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is seven more than Wednesday.
The total number of COVID-19 positive patient bed-days in the most recent seven days is 2,174, which is a 30.4% increase from the previous seven days. The peak daily number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients in the most recent seven days is 339.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) There is one new COVID-19 related death in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,491, the Oregon Health Authority reported Thursday.
OHA also reported 928 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. Thursday, bringing the state total to 183,830.
Vaccinations in Oregon
OHA reported Thursday that 39,560 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of this total, 26,858 doses were administered on Wednesday and 12,702 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
The seven-day running average is now 35,429 doses per day.

Oregon Health Authority reported 780 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 180,700.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 291, which is four fewer than yesterday. There are 66 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is no change from yesterday.
The new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Baker (2), Benton (8), Clackamas (89), Clatsop (1), Columbia (8), Coos (3), Crook (15), Deschutes (85), Douglas (4), Grant (27), Hood River (2), Jackson (15), Jefferson (1), Josephine (10), Klamath (37), Lake (1), Lane (36), Lincoln (6), Linn (31), Malheur (1), Marion (111), Morrow (2), Multnomah (169), Polk (8), Tillamook (2), Union (1), Wasco (3), Washington (81) and Yamhill (21).
Jackson County reports more than 300 cases last week, Josephine County reports new Covid death
According to the Oregon Health Authority, Jackson County experienced more than 300 new cases of coronavirus last week, something that the county hasn t experienced since early January. OHA is also reporting one new death in Josephine County.

OHA states that Oregon’s 2,485th death is a 95-year-old man from Josephine County who tested positive on April 21 and died on April 24 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center. Presence of underlying conditions is being confirmed.
