GUWAHATI: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation across the State, the SEBA (Board of Secondary Education, Assam) and also the AHSEC (Assam Higher Secondary Education Council) have postponed the HSLC/AHM (High School Leaving Certificate) examination-2021/Assam High Madrassa examination)-2021 and the HS (Higher Secondary) final examination-2021.
Authorities of both SEBA and AHSEC have also stated that the examinations will be held once the situation becomes normal. Appealing to the students and their guardians to have patience during the present situation, they urged the candidates to keep on preparing for their respective examinations. The revised examination schedules will be announced shortly after consultation with the Health department, they added.

GUWAHATI: In view of rising in COVID-19 cases, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) postponed higher secondary final examinations, scheduled to be held from May 11.
Earlier today, the Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) had announced the postponement of HSLC and AHM exams.
The exam was scheduled to be held on May 11 but they are now postponed.
Notably, students, as well as teachers, have been demanding the postponement of the board exams amid the devastating second wave of COVID-19 gripping the state as well as the nation.

GUWAHATI: In view of the surging number of Covid positive cases in the state, Assam class 10 and 12 state board exams have been postponed until further orders. Both class 10 and 12 boards were scheduled to begin from May 11, however, the exams have now been differed till further notice. In view of the prevailing situation of Covid-19 in the state of Assam, it has been decided to postpone the HSLC/AHM Examination 2021, scheduled to be held from 11th May 2021, read the notification issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (Seba) secretary, Suranjana Senapati on Tuesday.
The order mentioned that the revised schedule of the class 10 boards conducted by Seba will be announced shortly after consultation with the state health department.
HS 1st year examinations postponed due to COVID pandemic

GUWAHATI: Due to the surging COVID-19 cases across the State, the ensuing higher secondary (HS) 1st year examinations under the Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC) have been postponed.
The exams were scheduled to be held from May 4. This was informed to the media by AHSEC Chairman Dr Dayananda Borgohain.
He underlined that though the 1st year examinations have been postponed, no decision has been taken to postpone the HS final year examinations which will be held from May 11.
