Facebook Share CLEVELAND, Ohio Ohio transit advocacy group All Aboard Ohio has asked the federal government to open an inquiry into the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s procurement process for new railcars. The advocacy group said Wednesday that it submitted the request to the Federal Transit Administration’s inspector general after it was told by “sources at GCRTA and at a railcar manufacturer” that RTA twice denied deadline extensions sought by one or more manufacturers, who wanted more time to respond to RTA’s pending request for proposals.
