PETALING JAYA: Youths will be included in the government policy planning process as a group of them will be selected to channel the voices of their peers from the grassroots to the Prime Minister, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
In his National Youth Day address, Muhyiddin said the youths would be part of an advisory group whose opinions and views would help in shaping government policy.
“This suggestion came from the Malaysian Youth Council, which I believe is a good initiative to ensure the grassroots voices will be heard, ” he said in his speech which was aired live on television and social media platforms yesterday.
