While the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is accused of eroding the secular and liberal principles of the Constitution, it is common knowledge that the BJP thrives on the grievances and prejudices of the majority community against the minorities. The last six years have been hard for Indiaâs largest minority â they have faced lynchings, riots, and social and political alienation.
