The representative of the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives, Sam Onuigbo, has expressed sadness over the passing of Ossy Prestige.
DAILY POST reports that Ossy Prestige, who represented Aba North/South Federal Constituency and was elected under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) platform, died after battling an undisclosed illness.
Reps spokesperson, Benjamin Kalu, confirmed the death on Monday.
“He has been confirmed dead by a family member,” Kalu said.
But, mourning the late Abia federal lawmaker, Hon Sam Onuigbo in a condolence message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, said the world has lost a vibrant, people-centred and progressives man, adding that the late parliamentarian touched many lives that came across him.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has described the Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, as an idle governor.
He said it was because Obiano was idle that made him to have time to take weird pictures and sending them on the internet.
Ngige spoke in Awka, the Anambra State capital during a meeting of the stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress and members of the Registration and Revalidation Committee of the party.
Criticisms recently trailed Obiano’s picture with a pet dog taking in his living room and circulated in the internet while he was reportedly holidaying in the United States of America.
