âThis is my first time running for council,â the 71-year-old OâConnor said. âIâve always wanted to but I couldnât afford to do it before as a business person. I had a construction company and I didnât feel it was fair to take a job on that people say âoh, itâs only part-time job,â but this is not a part-time job and I wonât treat it like a part-time job.â
