Chuck Holbrook helped open Abilene s first Raising Cane s.
Now, he s moving on to beef with a new burger restaurant that he and his partners are bringing to Abilene.
Holbrook, Casye Fowler and her father, Tom Fowler, are franchisees for a local location of Plano-based MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes.
The trio is shooting for a mid-July opening in the west endcap of the second strip center at The Shops of Abilene Village at 3550 S. Clack St., across from Petco. Also recently opened at the new strip center are Stanton Optical, NobiliTea and Hollywood Nails.
Holbrook and his partners considered five to eight restaurant concepts before selecting MOOYAH, he said.
