2 injured when tractor-trailer crashes into back of state snowplow on I-81

Cicero, N.Y. Two drivers were injured early this morning when a tractor trailer crashed into the back of a New York State snow plow on Interstate 81 in Cicero.
The two vehicles collided just before 4 a.m. on I-81 north near Exit 30 (Cicero-Bridgeport), state police said in a news release this afternoon.
Both vehicles went off the highway and onto the shoulder, police said. The crash shut down part of the northbound highway for more than an hour, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The plow truck driver, Stephen T. Brewster, 25, of East Syracuse, was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Madison County man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

Oneida, N.Y. – A Madison County man has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing a woman, according to the Oneida City Police Department.
The stabbing happened just before 3 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of North Lake Street in Oneida, police said in a news release Wednesday. The victim, who was stabbed several times, was taken to the Oneida Health hospital and then transferred to Upstate University Hospital, they said.
Ronald R. Campany II, 28, was found at a nearby family member’s residence armed with a knife, police said. An elderly family member was evacuated from the house, they said.
