Technology in farming and agriculture, in general, is changing so fast, it s leaving me behind.
A few years ago I added GPS and autosteer technology to my tractor. I never thought I would like it; you know how I like to be in control. Now that I have it, I wish I would have had it 10 years ago. The efficiency and cost-saving from overlap are realized immediately. The thing about it is, my stuff is considered antique compared to today s machinery.

Plow until noon, unhitch the horses, feed and water them. Then get your second team ready, plow until dark, unhitch, feed and water. A Northeast Iowa woman has been charged after authorities found out a young child she was babysitting, ate a bag of gummies laced with THC, and slept for 2 days.
23 year old Janika Williams of Dubuque was taken into custody last Thursday (May 6) on a charge of Child Endangerment with Bodily Injury. Williams was arrested on a warrant, at a residence on Pennsylvania Avenue and John F. Kennedy Road in Dubuque.

The child, whose name was not released, was under Williams care, while the mother was working. When she returned home, the parent took her child to the hospital.
