RANGPUR, May 13, 2021 (BSS) – Ninety jobless cultural activists affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic received Taka 5,000 each here as cash assistance from the government on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said the Ministry of Cultural Affairs allocated the money for distribution among the jobless cultural activists of the district.
The district administration arranged a function for distribution of the money at District Shilpokola Academy auditorium in the city, abiding by the health directives amid the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Most Shahnaz Begum distributed the money among the cultural activists in the function as the chief guest to assist them in tackling the pandemic situation.
