Pakistan-China relationship turned into all-weather cooperative partnership: FM Qureshi March 2, 2021 ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the Pakistan-China relationship has turned into an all-weather cooperative partnership which is an anchor for peace and stability of the region. In his address at a Virtual Ceremony held in Islamabad on Tuesday to mark the 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, Qureshi said that both Countries have built their relationship around mutual trust and respect. The minister said that the multifaceted and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China is stronger than ever. He said that the two sides are coordinating at multi-lateral and regional fora and support each other on the basis of their core interests.

Request to share JIT report of terrorist with embassy Request to share JIT report of terrorist with embassy KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department Police has requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to provide the joint-investigation team s report on an alleged Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London terrorist to the Belgium embassy in Pakistan, it emerged on Thursday. In a letter to MoFA, CTD DIG Omar Shahid Hamid wrote that the alleged terrorist, Wahid Hussain alias Guddu alias Sodagar, was arrested in a raid by his department last month. A JIT was subsequently formed. The suspect holds dual nationality of Belgium and Pakistan, the DIG apprised.

Technical Meeting of the Government of Lao PDR – United Nations Joint Steering Committee Vientiane, 26 February 2021 – The Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) together with the United Nations (UN), jointly organized the ‘Technical Meeting of the Government of Lao PDR – United Nations Joint Steering Committee’, at the International Cooperation and Training Center.
