Armed police have descended on a number of Stoke-on-Trent streets this morning as part of investigations into an attempted murder which left one man in hospital.
Eyewitnesses saw officers, police dogs and paramedics on Birches Head Road, in Birches Head, at around 11am this morning (May 13).

Families have spoken out over their troubles trying to book face-to-face doctors appointments during the coronavirus crisis.
