Greater Noida: With the number of Covid patients down to 60, the Government Institute of Medical Science (GIMS), Greater Noida, will start its general.
Noida: Physiotherapy treatment has come to play a vital role in recovery of Covid patients. With over 200 Covid recovered patients still recouping on oxygen support in both government and private hospitals including Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) Greater Noida, Noida Covid Hospital (NCH) sector 39, Sharda hospital Greater Noida, Fortis and Yatharth etc, demand for physiotherapy treatments are on the rise. The treatments include various energy conservation techniques of breathing (active cycle of breathing techniques - ACBT) and mobilisation, autogenic and postural drainage positioning depending upon upper/lower lobe secretions and oxygen saturation, interpersonal and diaphragmatic exercise such as clapping, vibration, huffing, coughing and ambulation (ability to walk without assistance).

GREATER NOIDA: A free vaccination camp will be organised for people with special needs, elderly and individuals from the transgender community on June 7.
The session will be held at Vikas Bhawan in Surajpur collectorate and people would be inoculated from 10 am to 4pm that day.
Only residents of Uttar Pradesh would be vaccinated at the camp, officials said. For people with special needs, a drive-through process has been organised. People from the transgender community will have to register themselves at transgender.dosje.gov.in and those who need help with the process can visit the centre on Saturday.
