Entries for the Annual National Juried Exhibition by The Batesville Area Arts Council — KFFB 106 1 FM — Arkansas Radio — Online Radio–Arkansas Politics–Local News

The Batesville Area Arts Council is currently seeking entries for the 9th Annual National Juried Exhibition. This year’s juror is Landon Perkins, an interdisciplinary artist from Tallahassee, FL and a Preparator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The deadline to submit entries is  March 8, 2021, and the exhibition will run  April 20 – June 5, 2021. The Exhibition is open to all artists 18 and older working in 2D media. Entries must be original works created within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the BAAC Gallery on Main. Artists may submit up to three images with an entry fee of $25 ($20 for BAAC members). Two additional images may be submitted for an additional $5 each. WINSTON-SALEM, NC .- Cross Pollination: Heade, Cole, Church, and Our Contemporary Moment opened at Reynolda House Museum of American Art on Feb. 19 as part of its reopening weekend of gratitude for members, first responders, and WFU faculty, staff, and students, and on Feb. 23 to the public. The traveling exhibition explores pollination as a metaphor for the interconnections between art and science, among artists, and across generations.
