Charity speedrunning bonanza Summer Games Done Quick has revealed the schedule for July s week-long event, and it looks like another good un. Along with many old favourites, the livestreamed show will include Dragon Age: Inqusition in under an hour, a perfect score on GeoGuessr, a Factorio run, and maybe someone playing Trackmania Nations Forever while blindfolded.
See all the games on the schedule. PC playables coming up include FromSoftware s presidential mech game Metal Wolf Chaos XD, Psychonauts, goblin stealth game Styx: Shards Of Darkness, the fabulous Bayonetta, the Penumbra trilogy, crustractean brawler Fight Crab (don t worry, our Nate is well aware of this game), first-person parkour em up Ghostrunner, Doom Eternal s expansion, Dark Souls 3, and sandbox heist game Teardown. I m always impressed by the tricks people pull in Teardown s destrucible world, so I m quite looking forward to that.

The Summer Games Done Quick 2021 schedule is now out, and I’m so excited. Taking place from July 4-11, the online speedrunner charity event will feature over 100 full-tilt sprints through games famous and obscure, with the proceeds raised going to Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières.
Games Done Quick marathons are my most anticipated gaming events of the year, and SGDQ 2021’s schedule doesn’t look like it’ll disappoint. Being a lover of all things BioWare, I’m thrilled to see

Games Done Quick will see the return of its all-women speedrunning event Flame Fatales this August, and players interested in participating will be able to send their game submissions in just a few weeks. Running for a week, the event will be held completely online and, as with all GDQ events, will help raise money for charity via viewers donations.
Flame Fatales begins on August 15 and runs through August 21, with game submissions opening up on May 18. If you aren t sure whether you want to volunteer you ll have a little longer to decide, as those submissions won t go live until July 15, which is the same day the schedule releases.
