Hiddenite Man Faces String Of Charges Following Reported Vehicle Chase In Alexander County Marty Joe Bryan March 17, 2021 42-year-old Marty Joe Bryan of Hiddenite was arrested Saturday (March 13) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. He’s charged with felony counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. In addition, Bryan is charged with two misdemeanor counts apiece of possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer. He’s also charged with multiple traffic citations including speeding, reckless driving with wanton disregard, driving left of center, and failure to stop for a stop sign or flashing red light.

(WBTV) - A man already in jail after being charged with more than 50 counts of secret peeping and nine counts of indecent liberties stemming from three years of videos taken in Alexander County is now facing more charges. Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and Taylorsville Police Department officers arrested 32-year-old Michael Justin Childers at his home at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 4. The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation beginning in Dec. 2020 that initiated from Wittenburg Elementary School in Alexander County.

Hickory Woman Charged With Habitual Larceny Cynthia Diane Hayes March 8, 2021 43-year-old Cynthia Diane Hayes of Hickory was arrested Saturday (March 6) by Taylorsville Police Officers. She’s charged with felony habitual larceny along with misdemeanor counts of larceny and second degree trespass. Hayes was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $3,000 secured bond.
