Gaston County Police have now charged two more people with murder in a shooting last week that left two men dead and a third injured.
Police charged Kaleb Isiah Carver, 21, of Taylorsville, with two counts of first-degree murder in the Feb. 18 shooting deaths of Robert Lucas Luke Gibby, 22, of Bessemer City, and Adam Kale Wood, 19, of Kings Mountain.
Police filed juvenile petitions against a third person on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
Carver was booked into Gaston County Jail without bond at 6:19 p.m. Monday.
Earlier Monday, police arrested Michael Shane Barnes, a 19-year-old suspect from Taylorsville, on identical charges.

It’s now been more than a month since a woman was shot to death at a Hickory business, and the Hickory Police Department is still seeking a pair of suspects wanted in that case. 49-year-old Tangela Louise Parker and 61-year-old Eric Carroll Parker, both of Taylorsville, are still wanted in reference to the murder of Phelifa Michelle Marlow on January 13.
The United States Marshals Service recently increased the reward to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrests of the two suspects. The shooting occurred at 2:30 p.m. January 13 at T.C.S. 39-year-old Jermaine Douglas Grandy, 25-year-old Khyran Rasaan Littlejohn, and 18-year-old Nevaeh Douglas Grandy were all arrested Sunday (February 14) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. Jermaine and Nevaeh Grandy are father and son and list the same Old North Road, Lenoir address. Littlejohn’s address is on Patton Street in Morganton. All three suspects are charged with two counts of felony traffic in opium or heroin.

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Deputies arrested three people after 36,000 fentanyl pills and more than 30 guns were seized in a drug bust in Caldwell County.
Jermaine Douglas Grandy, 39, Nevaeh Douglas Grandy, 18 and Khyran Rasaan Littlejohn, 25, were arrested and charged with multiple counts of trafficking in opioids.
All three were placed in the Caldwell Detention Center, Jermaine Grandy under a $500,000 secured bond, Nevaeh Grandy and Khyran Littlejohn under a $100,000 secured bond.
