Two found shot in car on Delaware Avenue in Albany

The car was on Delaware in the area of Whitehall Road and Second Avenue.
Albany police said the driver was shot in the torso, the passenger was shot in the arm. Police did not provide their conditions. They were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Police responded to Delaware Avenue around 11:50 p.m. Saturday for reports of a shooting, when they found the victims inside the car.

HUDSON – The parents and five other relatives of a 12-year-old Austerlitz girl who died while suffering from kidney failure and pneumonia have pleaded guilty in Columbia County Court to child endangerment charges.
The girl s parents, Steven Bennett, 58, and Heidi Tranberg-Bennett, 47, were charged in early November with second-degree manslaughter 11 months after their daughter, Evanna, died at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
