Labour and Social Development Minister warned that the labour market is going through a critical situation. “We need to enhance the kingdom’s investment atmosphere and maintain its pioneering position as an investment-attracting destination,” said Jameel Humaidan.

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf said that the ministry had reduced, dropped and exempted municipal fees for 1973 Bahraini families during 2020.
The minister stressed that this decision came as an implementation of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister’s directives and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s keenness to provide a decent life for all citizens.
He explained that the reduction of municipal fees came consistent with the needs of citizens, as well as exempting some people with limited income from paying future fees or cancelling their old debts.

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited Bahrain and held meetings with the leadership of the kingdom.
The COAS called on Prince Salman bin Hamad bin lsa Al Khalifa, the crown prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief Bahrain Defence Forces Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander Bahrain National Guard.
