Man denies breaching court order by dancing in Oxford road

Man accused of dancing with trolley in road A HOMELESS man is said to have breached a court order – by dancing in the street. Jose Phillips, 59, is accused of stopping with his trolley in George Street and dancing in the road on June 8, 2021. If proven, the allegations would put him in breach of a criminal behaviour order originally imposed in 2017 that prevents him from walking in the highway unless crossing the road. Appearing before Oxford Magistrates’ Court, Phillips, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to breaching a criminal behaviour order. He was bailed to return to court on June 15.

Man fined after drink-driving at Bicester primary school

A MAN has been fined £1,000 after he admitted drink-driving at a primary school. Appearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court, 40-year-old Corby Heyne, of Blencowe Close, Caversfield, admitted the offence at Gagle Brook Primary School in Bicester on November 10. He had 174mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was fined £1,000, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £100 and court costs of £85. Eight people in Thames Valley charged in connection with drug supply

Patrick Gray, aged 43, of Radford Close, Oxford. Lewis Court, aged 35, of Scott Close, Kidlington. Sophie Plowman, aged 26, of Songthrush Road, Banbury. Jamie Shepherd-Smith, aged 32, of Bramling Cross, Longworth, Abingdon Others charged are: Mohammed Ali, aged 49, of Chervill, Beanhill, Milton Keynes. Mohanned Albein, aged 35, of St Quentin Close, Swindon. They are all due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today. The charges are in connection with a series of raids across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire during which around 3kg of class A drugs, around £60,000 in cash and a stun gun were seized. Around £190,000 was also seized during a previous stage of the operation.
