The “Take it to the Box” prescription drug collection program collected over 819 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs from across Otter Tail County in 2020. Since the start of the collection program in 2012, over 7,769 pounds of prescription drugs have been collected and properly disposed of just throughout Otter Tail County, said a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff s Office.

HENNING, Minn. (WKBT) A dairy-farming couple is reeling from a Christmas Eve blaze that destroyed a barn, killing 1,000 goats and other animals, but Stephen and Brittany Springer are relying on the faith that spurred them to name their enterprise Cornerstone Farm to help them pull through.

MINNEAPOLIS= Authorities say a barn fire on a western Minnesota farm killed 1,000 goats and other animals.
Reports say the blaze struck the Cornerstone Farm s dairy barn northeast of Henning at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff s Office said along with the goats, dairy operators Brittany and Stephen Springer lost a dog trained to tend to the herd, 15 peacocks and at least two tractors in the fire that ravaged the barn.
Sheriff s Lt. Greg Seim says the fire is under investigation but it doesn t appear suspicious.
