The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to the death of his son, Dare Adeboye.
Adeboye speaking through a recorded message after the thanksgiving service held for his late son, Pastor Oluwadamilare Adeboye held at the Youth Center of the church at Redemption camp, Mowe Ogun state, said: “And I have told you before, death is not function of age, young people die, old people die, children. We have also learnt that it is not how long you lived, it is how well, he said.
The 79 years old cleric said what had happened is going to work out for good of the members, the church and the body of Christ at large.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has finally made a formal statement on the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye, saying he has lost a campaign, hence, he charged the church and body of Christ to move forward despite the incident.
Adeboye stated this while addressing people through a video at the funeral service of the deceased held at the Youth Centre of the church at the Redemption Camp, adding that “though Oluwadamilare has gone, the church and the body of Christ at large have to move forward.

On May 4, 2021, Elder Ricardo Graham, president of the Pacific Union Conference, announced his intention to retire from church employment. A new president will be elected at the union constituency meeting, August 15-16, in Tucson, Arizona.
For nearly 47 years, Elder Graham has been working in ministry for Jesus Christ as a pastor and leader within the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.
Fifteen of those years were devoted to the Pacific Union Conference, and for the past 13 years he has been its president.
Elder Graham has announced that he will conclude his service as president on August 16, 2021, at the election of the next president, and will officially retire on October 1, 2021.
