Full Service Lansing Area Health Clinic Will Offer Primary Care
Opening sometime in the fall will be a new full service health clinic. It will be called the Allen Place clinic and it will open up on East Kalamazoo Street in Lansing.
Everybody I know seems to be pretty happy about this new clinic opening in an area that hasn t ever seen a health clinic before.

The Ingham County Health Department and Allen Neighborhood Center are partnering to create a new federally qualified health center to better serve the health care needs of eastside residents. The Allen Place clinic will offer primary care, behavioral health and laboratory services and include on on-site pharmacy, said Kris Drake, ICHD executive director and deputy health officer.

EAST LANSING The Islamic Center of East Lansing is partnering with Rite Aid to administer walk-in vaccinations during Friday prayers at the center part of a wider effort to reach the area s Muslim population.
Last month, the center surveyed 396 people who attended prayers there. Of that group, 36% said they were not yet vaccinated, according to Thasin Sardar, a trustee at the center.
Rite Aid pharmacists will administer first-dose Morderna shots on Friday. Second-dose appointments will be made for patients at a Rite Aid store. We feel that it is a communal responsibility for us to be a part of the solution to get everyone vaccinated to reach herd immunity, Sardar said.
