THANE: Police registered an FIR on Sunday against four people for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in Maharashtra s Thane district last year, an official said.
The police have detained some persons in connection with the case, but no one has been arrested so far, he said.
On September 14 last year, the accused took the Class 7 student to an isolated place in a dilapidated building in Bhiwandi taluka where they allegedly raped her, the official from the district rural police control room said.

NOIDA: A 20-year-old youth has been arrested for allegedly stalking and slapping a 15-year-old girl on her way to her school. While the accused had been following the girl for the past few months, he allegedly followed the girl to her school in Gadhi Chaukhandi on Thursday and slapped her repeatedly when she objected to the youth holding her hand.
Police said that the girl, who stays in Behlolpur under Phase III police station area, walks to her school in Gadhi Chaukhandi area regularly. On Thursday, when she was walking to her school around 1.30 pm, the accused allegedly followed her and forcefully held her hand.
