Montana on Tuesday reported 167 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of active cases in the state to 1,028.
There have been 1,593 deaths from COVID-19 and 107,486 recoveries. There are 69 active hospitalizations out of 5,122 total hospitalizations. The state administered 2,764 new tests since Monday.
Cascade County on Tuesday reported 36 new cases. The county has administered 50,691 total doses of Covid vaccine, and 24,276 residents have been fully immunized. Cascade County has 181 active COVID-19 cases and there have been 169 deaths.

Orange Beach: Beach season is heating up, and the coastal region is getting federal money to help recover from tourism losses caused by the pandemic. The Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration said Thursday that it will provide the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau with $800,000 for a marketing program. The money will be combined with $200,000 in local funding. The agency is helping communities nationwide implement programs to counter economic hardships amid the pandemic, said Dennis Alvord, acting assistant secretary for economic development. “This investment will fund a strategic, multi-faceted marketing campaign designed to attract visitors to the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area, resulting in continuous economic growth and job creation,” he said in a statement. Montana on Saturday added 175 new COVID-19 cases, though the number is likely inflated as the Cascade City-County Health Department reported backlogged data from November and December would be recorded this week.
The state reported 1,079 active cases and 1,523 total deaths from the virus Saturday. There are 45 active hospitalizations and 103,540 total recoveries. Gallatin County reported 60 new cases, Yellowstone County reported 22, Missoula County added 10 and Flathead County reported nine.
Cascade County reported 47 new cases Saturday, though that number is likely inflated. The county also reported 62 active cases and has had 167 deaths from the virus. In terms of vaccinations, Cascade County has administered 37,463 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and 15,006 people are fully immunized, meaning they received both shots.
