TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) - New COVID-19 testing sites opened across Indiana Wednesday, including a site at the Indiana National Guard Armory on Maple Avenue in Terre Haute.
The Indiana State Department of Health is partnering with the company OptumServe to open 50 new testing sites across Indiana this month.
With expanded testing capabilities, the state is hoping to test around 100,000 Hoosiers for COVID-19 per month.
People showing symptoms of the virus and those who have been in close contact with an infected person are able to be tested.
You may register by phone by calling 888-634-1123.
Verbatim: Text of Gov. Holcomb s State of the State address
The Journal Gazette
My fellow Hoosiers.
It’s an honor to once again discuss with you this evening the state of our state and the work before us to make life better for all Hoosiers.
This annual update will be unlike any other.
For tonight, I stand before you in a studio with nothing in between me and you.
We’re not surrounded by all the grandeur inside the State House of Representatives Chamber or before a packed house of legislative leaders and guests who have all contributed so much to the well-being of our great state.
