Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) Team conducted a traffic stop on a Virginia registered 2021 Hyundai passenger rental vehicle, on Northbound Interstate 77 at the 68 Mile Marker for a traffic violation.

54-year-old Kevin James Davis of Columbia, South Carolina and 36-year-old Jamaal Lee Fairfax of Fairchance, Pennsylvania, were both arrested by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. Both suspects were charged with felony counts of trafficking cocaine by transportation and possession, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for the sale or use of a controlled substance. They are also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

20-year-old Caleb Lee Marrero of Powder Horn Road in Mooresville was arrested Monday (March 1) by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with three felony counts apiece of statutory rape of a child less than 15-years-old and statutory sex offense.
According to information released by authorities Wednesday (March 3), on February 19, 2021, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to an alleged statutory rape. One the report was filed, it was assigned to Detective Sergeant Katie Campbell with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.

Sheriff Campbell stated: On Friday, February 19th 2021, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to an alleged statutory rape. One the report was filed, it was assigned to Detective Sergeant Katie Campbell with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
