On June 23 Samuel AJ Tutwiler, 21, Marcum, turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail on an Iroquois County warrant for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Tutwiler posted the required bond and was released.
Iroquois County Sheriffâs Police arrested Heather N. Sutherlin, 42, Westville, June 24. According to police reports, Sutherlin was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. Sutherlin was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she posted the required bond.

On June 21 Stephanie A. Hillard, 31, Milford, was arrested by Milford Police. According to police reports, Hillard was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. Hillard was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she posted the required bond.
A LâErable man was killed in a single vehicle accident June 4.
Iroquois County Sheriffâs Police investigated the accident at 4:54 p.m. June 4 on County Road 1500 E near 2630 N.
According to police reports, a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Donald R. Heisner, 48, LâErable, was traveling north on County Road 1500 E when for unknown reasons his vehicle left the road.
The vehicle entered the east side ditch where he continued traveling north for approximately 275 feet striking two trees along the way. The vehicle then became airborne for a short time before striking a final tree and coming to rest near 2530 N.
A Nevada man was killed Tuesday night in a vehicle/train accident at Woodland.
According to Iroquois County Sheriffâs Police reports, Greg Brutlag, 54, Las Vegas, Nevada, was pronounced dead at the scene on 1200 North Road and CSX railroad crossing west of 2120 East Road, rural Woodland.
The accident happened at approximately 11:30 p.m.
According to the police reports, the initial investigation has indicated that the black GMC truck driven by Brutlag was westbound on 1200 North and went through the crossarm that was illuminated and across the crossing as a train was on the crossing and headed north.The Brutlag vehicle struck the side of the train and came to rest north of the crossing.
