1 community infection among 12 new Covid-19 cases in S pore

SINGAPORE - There were 12 new coronavirus cases - including one in the community - confirmed as at Tuesday noon (April 27), taking Singapore s total to 61,063. Eleven of the infections were imported cases who had been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore. There was no new case from migrant workers dormitories, said the Ministry of Health (MOH). More details will be announced on Tuesday night. Separately, a mosque in Sembawang is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for cleaning and disinfection after it was visited by a person who tested positive for Covid-19. The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) said in a Facebook post that the individual visited Masjid Petempatan Melayu Sembawang on April 23 between 1.55pm and 2.22pm.

The seed for Tiga Roti was planted three years ago, after Penney met his now-wife Saffy. Through her, he got to learn more about Malay culture and the central role that food plays, he said in a media statement on the launch.
