Akron car salesman assaulted, vehicle stolen during test drive

AKRON, Ohio A male and two teen females assaulted a car salesman during a test drive, then stole the vehicle, leaving the salesman behind, police say.
A 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the theft, which occurred Wednesday afternoon. Police are still searching for the two teen females.
Police say the victim, the owner of Mons Auto Sales in East Akron, rode along on a test drive with an unknown male in a Pontiac G6. During the drive, the male stopped on the 500 block of McKinley Street in South Akron and picked up the teen females.
3 suspects sought after Akron Circle K robbed at gunpoint

AKRON, Ohio Three men, one armed with a handgun, escaped with cash Monday after robbing a Circle K in the Northwest Akron neighborhood, police say.
A clerk at the Circle K on the 1900 block of West Market Street tells police that one of the suspects stood watch outside the store while two others entered at about 2:20 p.m. Monday. Police say the clerk was forced at gunpoint to open the store’s safe.
The suspects were gone by the time officers arrived. No injuries were reported.
The suspects were 20-25 years old, wearing all black clothing. One of the men was described as about 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, while another was about 6-foot to 6-foot-3.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 16-year-old girl and a 33-year-old man were shot while sitting in a vehicle Tuesday evening.
Akron police said both victims were inside a vehicle parked outside a home in the 900 block of McKinley Avenue around 8:20 p.m.
The man was shot in the ankle and the teenager was shot in the leg.
Both are being treated at a local hospital and are expected to make full recoveries.
Akron police said a nearby home was also struck by gunfire, but nobody inside was injured.

AKRON, Ohio Police are searching for a man who robbed a flower shop in the city’s Ellet neighborhood.
Officers were called to Flowerama, 2495 Mogadore Road, at 7 p.m. Saturday. A store employee tells police the male suspect entered the store and handed a clerk a note demanding money. The suspect indicated he was armed, but no weapon was seen, police say.
The man then ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
