There are four cases in the community, three of whom are linked to previous cases.
Case 59419
Case 59419 is a 31 year-old male Chinese national who is a Work Permit holder. He works as a food processing worker at Golden Bridge Foods Manufacturing Pte Ltd (30 Senoko South Road).
He is a co-worker and housemate of Case 59343.
He had been identified as a close contact of Case 59343, and was placed on quarantine on Jan. 15. He was tested on Jan. 17 during quarantine even though he is asymptomatic, and his result came back positive for Covid-19 infection the next day.

SINGAPORE, Jan 19 The Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) today confirmed that one of the five symptomatic imported cases reported today is a 28-year-old female student from Malaysia.
Labelled as Case 59,422, the Student’s Pass holder arrived from her home country, said the ministry in its full data released here.
As at noon today, Singapore recorded 26 new imported cases of which 21 are asymptomatic, while five were symptomatic.

The republic also reported four new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infections with two asymptomatic and two symptomatic.
In all, 30 new cases were reported here Tuesday, thus, bringing the total number of infections to 59,157.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 59,083.

Four community cases
There are four cases in the community, comprising two who are currently unlinked, and two who are linked to previous cases.
Case 59340: Unlinked
Case 59340 is a 39-year-old male Singaporean who works at Singapore Scouts Association in Bishan, handling mainly administrative work in the office.
He is also a part-time bus driver with Westpoint Transit who plies specific routes for Cameron (Singapore) Pte Ltd and GlaxoSmithKline Tuas.
He developed a fever on Jan. 11 and sought medical treatment from a general practitioner via tele-consultation, and again at a polyclinic on Jan. 13 where he was tested for Covid-19 as part of MOH s enhanced community testing for those with acute respiratory infection.
