New Delhi [India], January 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, launching India s vaccination drive against novel coronavirus on Saturday, paid tribute to frontline workers and scientists and also urged citizens not to be affected by propaganda against the two Made in India vaccines against COVID-19.
The Prime Minister said that India s coronavirus drive is based on humanitarian and very important principles and also laid emphasis on maintaining social distancing and the use of masks.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will soon host a reality show to promote the tourism of Uttarakhand state.
Uttarakhand Cabinet took the decision in the same regard at a meeting chaired by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat late on Friday night.

Seven out of the 10 most popular Chief Ministers are from the Opposition parties while seven out of the 10 worst performing Chief Ministers are from the BJP/NDA camp, as per the IANS C-Voter State of the Nation 2021 survey.
As per the survey, BJP Chief Ministers are the least popular currently. In all BJP/NDA ruled states, the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is several notches higher than the popularity of the BJP Chief Ministers.
Non-Congress Chief Ministers are at times relatively at par or slightly more popular than Modi within their respective states. However, even the worst performing BJP/NDA Chief Ministers are more popular than Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in their respective states.
Taking serious note of a complaint by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday ordered a high-level probe into alleged financial irregularities in the state Sheep and Wool Development Board. Gandhi had recently written to the chief minister alleging misappropriation of funds in the board in the purchase of food for sheep and goats in Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh districts. Taking serious note of the allegations by the BJP MP, Rawat has ordered a probe into the alleged irregularities, an official statement here said. On the chief minister s instruction, Chief Secretary Om Prakash constituted a committee headed by Agricultural Produce Commissioner Manisha Panwar to probe the charges.
