Bidhuri, who hails from Delhi, lost to Duke Ragan of the US in the semifinals in Hamburg on Thursday, settling for bronze - India’s only medal from this edition.

New Delhi named host of this year’s Asian Boxing Championships Sunday, 14 March 2021 New Delhi has been confirmed as the host of this year s Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) Elite Boxing Championships. The event is due to take place from May 21 to 31, with the Indian capital set to welcome Asia’s best boxers two months ahead of the Olympic Games. The KH Jadhav Indoor Hall is expected to be the venue having hosted the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Women’s World Boxing Championships in 2018. New Delhi was originally scheduled to stage this year’s AIBA Men’s World Boxing Championships before the event was moved to Serbian capital Belgrade.
