COVID-19 response
Results from the recently completed November 2020 Cadre Harmonisé food and nutrition security analysis highlights that 102,350 people are currently food insecure in Togo (October-December 2020), an increase of 31 percent compared to the same time last year (October-December 2019). Meanwhile, the analysis in June 2020 had estimated that during the lean season and due to COVID-19, 1.3 million (22 percent of the population) were borderline food insecure, while 281,501 (5 percent of the population) were food insecure and required immediate food assistance.
