HANNIBAL â Officers at the Hannibal Police Department spend numerous hours training for different scenarios. The complexity of that training took a significant step forward recently when HPDâs MILO Force Options Simulator went into service.
âEveryone involved thus far seems excited by the opportunity to have something like the MILO system under roof,â said Police Chief Lyndell Davis. âThe ability to utilize the system as the department desires is greatly advantageous.â
According to Davis, the new device will help his officers to be better prepared for any number of situations they might be confronted with when out in the field.

Officers arrested Amanda N Fugate, 37, of Hannibal, on suspicion of distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Fugate was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Marion County Jail. A warrant was issued on Wednesday in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County charging Fugate with delivery of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety, and she remains in the Marion County Jail.

Hannibal Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad detectives executed a search warrant at the Chloe Place Apartments about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.
37 year old Amanda Fugate was taken into custody and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Fugate is in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Wednesday morning, another search warrant was executed in the 200 block of Willow.
31 year old Christopher Davis was jailed on $100,000 bond for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
Four others taken into custody, 24 year old Regan Taylor, 44 year old Mark Harris, 62 year old Patrick Whittaker and 32 year old Candace Elzea, were released pending review by the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney.
