LAHORE: PMLN President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said every additional day of this government is adding more debt on the nation, choking the country’s last breath while the people suffocated under the inflation, taxation and unemployment.
In a meeting with former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz, former finance minister Miftah Ismail, Sadia Abbasi, Ataullah Tarar, Sheikh Fayaz, Rao Ajmal, Malik Rasheed, and Riazul Haq, Shehbaz Sharif said the country is drowning deeper into debt and crisis.

ISLAMABAD: The PML-N and PPP on Tuesday demanded resignations from Prime Minister Imran Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, PM’s Adviser on Accountability and Interior Shahzad Akbar and all the ministers who were allegedly involved in the multi-billion scam of Rawalpindi Ring Road project.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday allowed Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif to travel abroad for medical check-up.
Justice Ali Baqar Najafi passed the orders on a petition filed by Shehbaz Sharif for removing his name from the blacklist. The court allowed Shehbaz Sharif one-time visit to United Kingdom from May 8 to July 5 for medical check-up. PML-N secures victory in PP-84 Khushab by-election
PML-N candidate Barrister Moazzam Sher Kallu won the PP-84 Khushab by-election by a wide margin after securing 73,081 votes, according to provisional results released by the Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday.
Unofficial results showed PTI’s Ali Hussain coming in second place with 62,903 votes. Independent candidate Amjad Raza came in third with 8,340 votes, followed by the candidate from the recently banned Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), Hafiz Muhammad Asghar Ali, who secured 5,782 votes.
PPP’s Ghulam Habib Ahmed came in seventh with 235 votes.
The seat which covers tehsil Noorpur Thal and some villages of tehsil Quaidabad, had fallen vacant due to the death of PML-N’s Waris Kallu who won it four times consecutively. The party gave the ticket to his son, Moazzam.
