The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Unit has arrested a US national for illegally entering Pakistan, a spokesperson for the agency said Saturday. The spokesperson said that Sirous Esmailzadeh, an American-Iranian man, entered Pakistan from Iran without documents. Esmailzadeh paid thousands of dollars to a smuggler to help him cross the Iranian border, he said. He had been living at a five-star hotel in Karachi since June 8, according to the FIA’s spokesperson. The accused was also issued a one-year emergency passport by the American consulate in Karachi.

Bhayandar, June 9: The sleuths of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) attached to the Nallasopara wing of the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police commissionerate with the help of members from NGO- Rescue Foundation busted yet another high-profile sex racket in Mira Road.
Three people including a female pimp and an auto-driver who facilitated the immoral trade by ferrying the girls to local lodges have been arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the IPC and the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
Two women were rescued from the clutches of the flesh trade racketeers. Acting on a tip-off, the AHTU team led by Senior Police Inspector- Bhaskar Pukle under the supervision of DCP (crime)-Dr Mahesh Patil deputed a decoy customer to establish contact with the pimps. Mathura : , May 24 (IANS) The Mathura police have detained a mentally unstable woman for allegedly trying to sell her 5-year-old daughter for Rs 500.
This is not her first attempt at selling. Seven years back she apparently sold her eldest child and herself to a man for Rs 40,000. Now he is her husband.
Both the younger daughters of the woman have been taken into custody by the district administration and sent to government s child shelter home after conducting their medical examination on the orders of the Child Welfare committee Mathura.

Hyderabad, May 21 : An online international human trafficking and drugs racket was busted in Hyderabad with the arrest of five Ugandan women, police said on Friday.
The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Rachakonda police busted the racket by acting on credible information that some persons running the online prostitution business through the Locanto dating app .
The accused were uploading semi-nude pictures of young girls and collecting the money from customers through online means or by hand.
The ATHU and Chaitanyapuri police jointly organised a decoy operation. The decoy customer contacted the mobile number on Locanto website, and a woman, identified as Nassali Milly, said that three Ugandan girls are available with charges ranging from Rs 5,000 for one hour to Rs 14,000 for the night.
